CHARACTER REVEAL

Aizen arrives with an attack boost—and a team trade-off

The 29 October kit reveal explains [Standing at the Top] Sosuke Aizen: immediate attack pressure, Raikoho at range and a switch-cooldown drawback.

What the official Aizen reveal adds

The new character introduction identifies Aizen as a Combo attacker. His innate increases attack when he enters the field, while his Skill adds a separate attack increase. His second Arts card is a ranged Raikoho attack, and his Mortal Blow is Kyokasuigetsu.

Why team switching deserves attention

The entry effect also extends the team’s remaining switch cooldown. That makes the character choice more specific than simply replacing your current attacker with a limited unit: consider what the other two slots need to do between his entries.

Keep the banner and the free retry separate

Bandai Namco introduced him as the first limited summon character. Released-game retry guides report that he is not in the free tutorial retry pool. Use the character catalogue to read the kit, then check the live pickup details before spending.

LAUNCH REWARDS

Launch gifts: know which Ichigo and Rukia you are getting

The global launch announcement names two ★3 versions and Mirror Stones for 30 summons. Those gifts are different from the ★4 units in retry recommendations.

Two named starter gifts

Bandai Namco’s 28 October global release announced ★3 [Substitute Soul Reaper] Ichigo Kurosaki and ★3 [Squad 13 Lieutenant] Rukia Kuchiki. Keep the star rating with the version title when you compare them with a summon result or a tier-list entry.

A launch announcement is not a permanent entitlement

The same release mentions Mirror Stones for 30 summons. Eligibility and claim windows belong to the current game notices; this article records the announced offer rather than promising that every future account receives it.

What to read before using the resources

Look at the current summon pool and the exact unit you want. The free tutorial retry, limited Aizen pickup and announced gift characters answer different account questions. Our beginner and retry guides separate them so an attractive reward headline does not become a rushed spending decision.

STORY & ANIMATION

A new Soul Reaper story, with fifteen original cast reveals

Meet the new story cast and the official opening animation, with character designs by Tite Kubo and music by suisoh.

Story characters and combat units are different lists

The 28 October announcement presents fifteen new story characters and cast commentary, including protagonists Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari. Their performances are credited to Chiaki Kobayashi and Maria Sashide. This is an original cast announcement, not a statement that all fifteen are in the launch summon pool.

Watch PIERROT FILMS’ official opening

The official opening animation was produced by PIERROT FILMS. Its theme, “CRITICAL,” is by suisoh; the launch release credits the arrangement to suisoh and Takahiro Yamada. Watch the official upload below, then return to the beginner guide for the playable systems.

A story after the Thousand-Year Blood War

The game follows a soul awakening in Karakura Town and beginning a Soul Reaper journey. Appearance and Zanpakuto customization let the protagonist take a personal form, while familiar BLEACH characters and the new cast share the setting.

FROM THE PLAYER COMMUNITY

Launch questions, answered with sources

The questions below came from public r/Bleach_MirrorsHigh launch discussions reviewed on 29 October 2026. We use them to identify useful guide topics; replies and complaints are player reports, not official confirmations or our own gameplay tests.

FREE RETRY SUMMON

Can the free retry give me two ★4 characters?

Gamerch’s release guide reports that only the guaranteed final slot can produce a ★4 in this particular summon. Choose the ★4 you want instead of retrying indefinitely for a double-★4 result.

A launch thread asks exactly this question. The important distinction is the summon type: this answer concerns the free tutorial retry, not every paid, ticket or limited banner. Open its in-game details before accepting the result. The sources agree that you may retry this tutorial ten-pull before confirming; they do not make its pool identical to Aizen’s separate limited banner.

CHARACTER INVESTMENT

Why are there different rarities of the same character?

A shared name does not make two units interchangeable. Game8 reports that ★3 and ★4 units both have a Mortal Blow, while their Spirit Ability capacity and base stats differ. Read the exact rarity and version before following a recommendation.

The publisher announced ★3 [Substitute Soul Reaper] Ichigo and ★3 [Squad 13 Lieutenant] Rukia as launch gifts. Our ranking comparison concerns unbroken ★4 characters. Those are different comparison groups, even when the bracketed title matches. Game8 lists up to two Spirit Abilities for ★3 and up to three for ★4. That does not mean the free units are unusable, and it does not establish a way to turn a ★3 into a ★4.

TEAM BUILDING

Why does a team of three look like a one-on-one fight?

Your three characters are a squad with switching and coordinated attacks. They do not need to stand on the battlefield together to contribute: some published effects activate on entry, while others support the team from standby.

Bandai Namco describes three-person teams, Action Cards, Soul Drive and Link Attacks. Its character introductions make the timing distinction useful: Rangiku’s critical support includes a standby condition, while Sado’s Shield description changes what happens to the outgoing fighter’s switch cooldown during Cover Change. Build around when an effect activates, rather than choosing three damage dealers solely because their individual rankings are high.

PLAYER REPORTS

Players report slow battles or loading. What can I check?

Several separate launch threads discuss loading, animation pace, response and graphics. These are reports from those players; they do not prove one shared cause, a confirmed bug or a fix date.

Separate a reproducible error from a preference about battle pacing. Record your device, OS, game version, mode, error text and the action that triggered it before contacting game support. Check the current store requirements and the publisher’s notices. If you are considering changing devices, set up Data Link first using the platform-specific official instructions. An account-linking error is a reason to preserve the account and consult support, not an instruction to delete its data.

ANNOUNCEMENTS & SUPPORT

Is there a confirmed maintenance end time or account-linking fix?

A Reddit maintenance question and an account-linking question are useful leads, but neither establishes the current service state. Use a dated publisher notice for maintenance schedules and confirmed recovery information.

This guide does not operate the game servers or a live status monitor. If you encounter a notice in the client, read the affected region, time zone and feature before acting; a shop issue need not describe all game modes. For a linking problem, use the official Android or iOS Data Link article for your platform and retain the exact error. We have not verified a single cause or a promised resolution time for the posts linked here.

ORIGINAL STORY

Can the original characters use Shikai or Bankai?

One launch discussion asks about the new characters’ powers. The verified starting point is the publisher’s original cast and avatar-customization material; those announcements alone do not establish an unlock route for every transformation.

Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari belong to the game’s original story. The official site shows avatar and Zanpakuto customization, but changing appearance is not evidence of a particular Shikai or Bankai mechanic. We have not verified the progression conditions requested in the linked discussion. Read the story and check the exact in-game ability description rather than treating fan speculation as a promised feature.
